The PPGMAp members and students have full access to all university library facilities and their services. The Institute of Mathematics offers a specialized Mathematics Library, whose collections have been constantly increased in both pure and applied areas by grants received by PPGMAP from CAPES.
Computational facilities are provided by the local Scientific Computing Integrated Laboratory (LICC), which makes it available to students and researchers of this program a wide range of computers and workstations, including a PC cluster with Pentium processors for parallel computing, to support local computing needs as well as providing remote access to larger computing systems available at the UFRGS National Supercomputer Center and other high performance computer centers. These activities count with the extra help and support offered by the local Computational Resource Group of the Institute of Mathematics.
The computer activities at LICC are supported by the staff at Computer Resources of the Department of Mathematics.
